Installation of Light Rotary Bearing

The installation process of the light slewing bearing is as follows:

 

1. Avoid contact with any solvents.

Do not paint the sealing belt when sealing ring or entering the raceway.

 

2. Contact with support connected

Surface must be cleaned. Welding nodules, burrs, paints and other attachments are not allowed. Contact surfaces should be free of lubricants and must be kept dry.

 

3. When installing, quenching soft strip should be positioned outside the main load area.

 

4. Pre-tightening bolts shall be star-shaped installation is carried out symmetrically and continuously in 180 direction. Finally, the bolts on the circumference are ensured to have the same pre-tightening force through one pass.

 

Spring washers are strictly prohibited.

 

5. Gear meshing clearance

For the rotary support with teeth, the backlash is adjusted according to the highest radial runout point of the pitch circle (three teeth with green paint marking). The minimum value of side clearance is generally 0.03-0.04X modulus. After the final tightening support, the meshing clearance of the pinion gear on the whole circumference should be re-checked.

 

6. Lubrication

1) When delivery, the slewing bearing raceway is coated with a small amount of No. extreme pressure lithium grease. Users should re-fill the new grease according to different working conditions, and should run while filling to make the grease evenly distributed.

 

2) The first lubrication of teeth must be done immediately after installation. Tooth surface must has enough lubricant film.

 

3) The rotary bearing raceway should be regularly filled with grease. General ball support per carriage lubricating grease should be added for 100 hours of rotation and for roller support, grease should be added for 50 hours of operation. For the support under the special working environment such as high temperature or more dust, the period of fat-filling should be shortened appropriately. Before and after the equipment stops running for a long time, it must be added enough grease. Every lubrication must be filled with grease in the raceway until it seeps out from the seal.

 

7. Inspection of bolts

After 100 hours of continuous operation, the pre-tightening force of the installed bolt should be checked thoroughly, and the above checks should be repeated every 500 hours of continuous operation.

 

8. Check the sealing system

Sealing belts and systems must be checked at least once every 12 months. In proper operation, the sealing belt must be kept intact. When cleaning parts, the cleaner should be avoided from touching the sealing belt or entering the raceway system.
